This week I'm showing you a post I've been waiting to show you for a long time!
I'm showing you how my husband built the photo booth. It actually didn't take him that long but I know it was a lot of work.
This was my inspiration picture. A few years ago we went to a family friend's wedding and they had this awesome photo booth! It was unlike any photo booth I had ever seen, or have seen since, so I had to try to re-create it!!!
I forgot to start taking pictures before this but all he had done was to frame the particle boards and then hinge them together. We thought hinges would be important for future storage purposes.

I forgot to start taking pictures before this but all he had done was to frame the particle boards and then hinge them together. We thought hinges would be important for future storage purposes.
We had these headers laying on the side of our house, from our shower remodel, so he cut slots out of them to slide the photo booth into.
Then the next step was trying to figure out where all of the cut out frames would go.
I held them up and Matt outlined them with a pencil. Then he cut them out with a jigsaw. I was very impressed at how accurate we was able to cut with it!
Malea approved. :)
After that we wallpapered the board and then screwed in all of the frames. I'd show you pictures of our wallpapering, we did a great job, but it would be useless. Apparently wallpaper doesn't stick to crappy particle board so the morning after we had wallpapered the photo booth, it had completely come off. I was SO bummed!!! Desperate to get it finished, and out of ideas, we brought out the staple gun and stapled the wallpaper down. It wasn't ideal but I think it still turned out great. So note to self: next time buy the expensive board so that the wallpaper will stick.
Here is the finished product.
Matt did a fabulous job!!!
Let the party begin!
I love this man. :)
Don't I have the prettiest friends?!
These are our friends the Littaus. This lovely lady on the left is the reason I'm able to get so much work done because she is always willing to watch my daughter. Malea even calls her mom (she calls me mommy).
These are our friends the Fosters.
They won best dressed for the night--I'm sure you can see why!

This is my sister, Alisha on the left, me in the middle, and my sister in law, Becky, on the right.
Just a little sass. :)
Maria-Isabel made this beautiful headband for my sister. It was perfect!
Bethany, on the left, is responsible for taking all of these amazing pictures!
This is me with the girls that get my booty out of bed at 5:30am to go running a couple times a week. :)
As you can see I had a great time and the photo booth was a huge success!
